William Mailer leads the CBA Behavioural Science Team, a multi-disciplinary unit of economists, psychologists and data scientists which works across the Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s business lines to improve financial wellbeing and climate action outcomes for customers and communities. The CBA team partners with leading research groups and practitioners around the world to apply and produce leading research on human behaviour and financial decision making. Prior to joining CBA, Will established and led the PwC Behavioural Economics team. Will has over 20 years of consulting experience, and a masters of behavioural economics from the Centre for Decision Research and Experimental Economics (CeDEx) in Nottingham, UK.
