Jess is a multi-award winning personal finance author and CommBank’s new Personal Finance Expert.
Prior to that, she was a finance journalist for two decades with leading Australian newspapers. Jess held multiple roles in journalism including senior economics writer, national economics editor, host of a money podcast and wrote a weekly money column and newsletter.
Jess has a degree in Economics (Social Sciences) and has written and published four books, including ‘The Money Diary’ (November 2023) and ‘Money with Jess: Your Ultimate Guide to Household Budgeting’, which won book of the year in the 2022 Australian Business Book Awards and joint best book in the 2023 Money Awareness & Inclusion Awards.
Jess is a passionate communicator and self-confessed ‘money nerd’ with a personal mission to boost the financial wellbeing and capability of all Australians.
